Long red berries, when fully ripe the fruit is very sweet and juicy with an unusual slightly acid taste. Used in jams, fresh fruit, and also wines and juices. This is a smaller tree with very good crops. The leaves can also be used as feed for silk worms.
Maturity: Late November onwards.

Plant in a well drained sunny position with well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears in Spring. Annual pruning is required as fruit is produced on new season's growth.
