Brassica oleracea 'Kalette Purple'
Kalette is the new name for a cross between Kale and Brussels Sprouts which was released to the market in 2010 after a fifteen year breeding program.
Prefers moist but well drained soil in a part to full shade position. Plant in late summer / early autumn for harvest in lateautumn to early winter. Pick florets after first cold snap when leaves drop. Fertilise regularly during growing season. Do not let dry out.
